Kaltenbrunner is one of the best female high alpine climbers in the world, holding more 8000 meter summits than any other woman. It's a good read, with some insights into her personality. They talk about her approach to climbing the 14 8000 meter peaks and her upcoming attempt at Kangchenjunga, another 8000 meter peak in Nepal, and the third highest peak in the world.

Gerlinde seems to be a very cool person, who takes her accomplishments in stride. It can be tough for a woman in a male dominated sport like high alpine climbing. On top of that, she's cute as hell too. ;)
