Jim Naughten, 1969, UK, released his book Re-enactors in 2009. The book is about people who step out of their daily lives to transform themselves into characters from the first and second World War. The portraits are mostly three-quarter profiles with a neutral background which let's the audience focus on the details of the costumes and the expressions of the portrayed. In the book we also find photographs of tanks used by the re-enactors and wide images of battlefields. Jim has won several awards and was featured in several exhibitions. The following images come from the series Re-enactors, Tanks and Healers.
